This was shortly after I discovered Night of the Living Dead the same way [on channel 5 "Movies 'til Dawn"]. I couldn't believe there was another movie with the same kind of theme - only it had this dark morbid/perverted humor, and the dead were so aggressive and angry...WAY ahead of it's time. 10/10Lee Abernathynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093882120501259350.post-84775144068724825652015-07-03T12:51:14.574-04:002015-07-03T12:51:14.574-04:00nothing beats the 1970's creepy synthesizer no...nothing beats the 1970's creepy synthesizer noises.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13570745983238907882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093882120501259350.post-80803242165393782492014-11-09T20:18:33.530-05:002014-11-09T20:18:33.530-05:00Im such a huge fan of this movie.. Jay hit the nail on the head the cheesy keyboard sound effects are the best and add a very creepy Dead atmosphere and eerie feeling to the entire film almost like you know these kids are doomed from the start.. I also love the Bad acting and the way it pin points 1972 with neck scarves and striped pants. The Zombies are done Fantastic and very believable looking. exspecially the one that Pops up after his lid is accidently stepped on.. ITS A SIGN FROM THE GODS :) This is An American Underground Classic.. Ive watched it a thousand times and could watch it another thousand and never tire of its 70's cheesy greatness.. Just got done watching it again and I'm surprised by how well the last third holds up. The whole graveyard sequence is ridiculous with the crazy synth noises and groans, the tied up caretaker, the lighting yeah, I'm pretty sure I know which one of the zombie women freaked you out. That blue makeup is awesomely scary. Sure, it's silly and dated T most points, but as Jay S pointed out: the sheer atmosphere of it is just amazing.Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01650968376904679222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093882120501259350.post-67964086229641016582011-06-21T19:28:04.592-04:002011-06-21T19:28:04.592-04:00One of my favorite films of all time.
